Theresa grew up in Hagerstown, Maryland, and currently lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, Brian; their dog, Jersey; and several chickens. She spends much of her free time at their camp on a lake in Maine.
A security systems engineer by day, Theresa is also a passionate hospice volunteer. From childhood, Theresa learned that broadening her experiences allowed her to better relate to the world around her, so she is constantly seeking ways to broaden her horizons and experience the world.
While she had never considered herself an adventurer, in 2015 Theresa found herself in the middle of rural Spain solo hiking the 500-mile Camino de Santiago. She was hesitant but eager to find what Europe had to offer, and ultimately she experienced nothing short of a miracle.
Theresa is available for presentations and public talks, delivering her message of inspiration to encourage people to push themselves beyond any visible horizon and accomplish something truly amazing.
